Shit happens is a conference that targets creatives through promoting that mistakes are ok and that they should be embraced ‘The design process is supposed to be messy. Learn to seize your failures and grow from your mistakes.’ Shit happens is supported with three touchpoints to promote, a poster series, GIF series and a takeaway publication. It plays on mistakes that all can relate to, a broken charger, burnt toast or even a spilled drink. These three points are used through the poster and GIF series. The Shit Happens publication holds words from trustworthy professionals and the intended conference speakers. The publication uses mark making and deliberately breaks design rules to further take part in the encouragement of mistakes.
